Carpe Diem – my adopted motto

Carpe Diem ~ sieze the day, a reminder to me not to waste that most precious commodity – Time. This is a crewel free hand embroidery design – really just made up as I went along. It sits on the wall behind my armchair.   Just in case I gave you the idea that I never finish anything, I thought that I would occasionally show some of the things I have finished. However, one undisputed rule of the Universe is that whenever space arises [cupboards, drawers, to-do lists] then it is immediately filled again. Nature abhors a vacuum doesn’t it? So it really isn’t my fault I am merely a tool of the Universe, obviously. Needless to say I shall never feel the lack of something to do.
