TROUBLE AT MILL

Such trouble you would not believe. Because I hadn’t posted in a while, I had to log in to WordPress again. First of all it wouldn’t accept my password, so doubting myself I applied to reset the password – I had four attempts at this before I realised that WordPress has my site down as ‘Life a work in rogress‘ – and despite many attempts to rectify this, this is what it still remains. As you can see some considerable time later I am back. I just have to remember my new name and password!

Finally I was all set to put up another post – and now I can’t find my camera lead anywhere to upload the pictures I wanted to show you. I have looked in all the usual places and my frustration is mounting. It is no good just to tell you I’ve been spinning or to describe the merino wool tops I bought in a lovely gold/khaki colour – that doesn’t sound attractive at all. Much better to see all this for yourselves. I’ve also been knitting in lambswool/silk, almost finishing a cardigan, but you will just have to take my word for it. Actually it is just as well I can’t show you that- as it has turned out miles too big and will probably have to be unravelled and knitted into something else.

So there we are. I wanted to say hello and bring you up to date on my activities, but until the lead surfaces, it will have to be without pictures. Hopefully, normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.
