THE INNER CHILD

If it doesn’t stop, I’ll have to give her official warning! That’s Lucie from  Love,Lucie.com She keeps distracting me from more important things, and if she doesn’t stop I’ll have to retaliate.

It was this picture that started me looking. Her gorgeous amigurumi gecko.

I should know better by now because she’s done it before. Of course I had to go on-line and got drawn into Animal Amigurumi and bought this book by Teri Crews.

Don’t you just love that little elephant? But I digress………I really don’t have time for this! Anyhoo, the long and short of it was this

I have to confess, I didn’t really keep to Teri Crews’ pattern. I had a quick look at the body and head, did those, and then just made it up as I went along because I was watching a box set of Dad’s Army at the time and just went with the flow. But in my own defence [all bad influences aside] it kept my hands busy and I had been sewing for about 4 hours and managed to break the back of most of Jacket Express #3; another stint and it should be finished and then I can get on to something else, perhaps?
