Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I did today what I thought I wouldn’t be doing and that is, this;  yup! I’m wearing both the Burda ‘go-to’ skirt and the Jacket Express #2  jacket together and not feeling like an ice-cream seller, either. I’m wearing it with an Emerald green pure silk top which is shhh! RTW. The weather is so beautiful today and just a tad on the ‘too warm’ scale for me, so I thought “what better combination than linen and silk to keep me cool”. And you know what? it did.

I agreed to let my DH take the photo of me actually wearing the above ensemble on the understanding that he didn’t include my face, I didn’t want to lose all sympathy after all.

And finally, Summer Time ~ and the living is easy,~ it is for one black Lab. anyway. Good ol’ Henry, knows where it’s cool!
